Our group's corporate philosophy is "To bring the joy of food to everyone, not just to those who eat it every day, but to provide excitement and joy in the meals we eat every day," and as a corporate group that is responsible for social infrastructure, we aim to contribute to the sustainable development of society and increase our own corporate value.
In particular, with regard to marine resources, which form the core of our Group's merchandise, the impact on our business will be significant due to the impact on the ecosystem caused by climate change and plastic pollution. Furthermore, when we look at the structure of our business, we see that our sales style is fundamentally labor-intensive, so securing and developing human resources is essential. Therefore, we view sustainability as an issue that our Group must address head-on.
Therefore, in promoting sustainability, the Group has formulated five material issues based on three themes. Going forward, we will identify issues for each material issue and discuss measures for each issue and their progress at the Sustainability Committee.
